Pair of Ormolu Mounted Imari Vases, Japan, 17th century, design of chrysanthemum flowers around the body and lions alternating with peony sprays around the shoulder, underglaze blue decoration with ochre, orange, and gilt, each surmounted by a bouquet-shaped candelabra by Ferdinand Barbenienne, each vase supported by a gilt-bronze stand cast as four standing dragons, ht. 14 in. (17 in. with stand).
