Yingqing Bowl, China, Song dynasty (960-1279), the interior finely carved with a foo dog playing a brocade ball, the cavetto with a composite flower scroll including blooms as lotus, chrysanthemum, plum, and peony, covered overall with a clear glaze with bluish tinge, dia. 1 1/2, ht. 6 in.
