Portrait of the Schooner JAMES BOYCE with Distant Coast and Lighthouse. Signed "Stubbs" l.l., vessel identified on the pennant. Oil on canvas, 22 x 36 in., in a period molded giltwood frame. Condition: Stable craquelure.

Note: The James Boyce was built by W.O. Nettleton at Fair Haven or East Haven, Connecticut.
