AMERICAN FARM SCENES No. 4., 1853 (Conningham, 136). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Large folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 18 3/8 x 24 1/2 in., in a contemporary burl veneer frame. Condition: Margins 3/8 in. or more, repaired tears into image u.c., u.r., and l.r., work applied to conservation paper, light toning.
Provenance: Reportedly bought at Goodspeed's Book Shop, Boston.
