Mahogany Pillar and Scroll Clock by Eli and Samuel Terry, Plymouth, Connecticut, circa 1824-27, scroll top and brass urn finials over the painted wooden dial with Roman numerals and floral decoration, the lower reverse painted tablet depicting a town center with central aperture for viewing pendulum, all on delicate French feet with scalloped apron, 30-hour time and count wheel strike wooden movement with pendulum and two cast iron weights, ht. 31 1/2 in.

Object left scroll broken and repaired, scrolls appear to be the original although back surface cleaned during a refinish, finials are period with the center larger than other two, original lower painted tablet with considerable in-painting, scalloped apron is the original, feet are replacements.
