Silver Pair-Cased Rack Lever Watch by Litherland, Davies & Company, Liverpool, serial #8425, hallmarked 1816, narrow balance cock, engraved with foliage on the table, serpentine foot inscribed Patent, three wheel train with flat steel balance, the fusee with maintaining power and two-way slides, white enameled dial with black Roman chapters and gold spade hands, silver case stamped EJ (Edward Jones) and bearing the Chester hallmark for 1816, overall dia. 54 mm.
