Silver Rack Lever Pair-Cased Watch by Thomas Cockshoot, Liverpool, un-numbered, hallmarked 1835, long narrow balance cock engraved with basket of flowers on the table, serpentine foot inscribed Patent, four wheel train with flat steel balance and now with bi-metallic temperature compensation curb, fusee with maintaining power and two-way slides, white enameled dial with black Roman chapters and gold spade hands with 60-seconds subsidiary dial, silver case stamped HA (Henry Adamson) and bearing the Chester hallmark for 1835, overall dia. 56 mm.

Note: Temperature compensation curb was undoubedly added for a special expedition shortly after 1835.

Minor hairlines around subsidiary seconds dial, seconds hand is a replacement, silver bow is a replacement.
