Jane Avril, 1899, third state of three (Adriani, 354). Monogrammed, dated, and titled in the matrix, identified on a label from Far Gallery, New York, on the reverse. Color lithographic poster on paper, sheet size 22 x 14 7/8 in. (55.8 x 37.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Toning, repair to corner l.r. (plus to minute nicks and tears to edges),handling creases, rippling, backed with chine or similar.
Provenance: Estate of Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (née Braman) Grasso, Essex, Connecticut.

Out of the frame the sheet measures 22 x 14 7/8 in., and is backed with Japan paper. There is a repair to the lower right corner (below & to the right of the date),and to a tear about 3 inches long to the left of her skirt. The colors are unobtrusively faded. The work is "hinged" along the top with scotch or similar tape.
