Portrait Miniature of an Elderly Woman. Inscribed "J.S.E. Pt.r." l.l., the sitter indistinctly identified on reverse card backing as "A-euba A-kins aged 88 Westfield Taken March 18 1847." Watercolor on paper, c. 1847 2 7/8 x 2 5/8 in., in a period mahogany veneer frame. Condition: Minor toning.
