Silk Needlework Picture of a Basket of Flowers, possibly a Moravian boarding school piece, Lititz, Pennsylvania, 1816, indistinct ink inscription, and dated "1816" below, the picture worked in silk and chenille threads on a silk ground, (minor toning and fray to background fabric at u.l. edge),18 3/4 x 21 3/4 in., mounted in a period gilt gesso and molded wood frame.
