Scott, Sir Walter (1771-1832), Two articles; autograph letter signed, January 8, 1821, two pages, concerning enquiries about a tract that he had seen relative to "secret consuls of the roman party; collations for the editions of Dryden and specific tracts such as "The Swallows," offering his opinions upon the work and lastly thanking him for sending along Mr. Butlers's Memoirs of the English Catholics Exclave, with holograph address leaf, (mounting remnants verso, seal loss); an autograph manuscript entitled "Lines: On Witnessing Sir Walter Scott embark for Scotland Shattered by Disease. July 1832), fifty-eight line poem.
