Three Carved and Painted Black Duck Decoys, America, late 19th/early 20th century, a hollow carved black duck with glass eyes, a note inscribed "Illinois River area late 1800's Frank Ash collection," impressed 118 on base; another hollow carved black duck with inset glass eyes with incised details on head and body, indistinct inscriptions on base "Wm. Romb-- Picton, Ontario;" the last with iron tack eyes, label reading "Decoy Early 1900's Mason Co."; (paint wear, glued repair to the second),ht. 5 5/8, 5, 6 3/8, lg. 16 3/4, 15 1/2, 16 in.
