Modern Italian Violin, Annibale Fagnola, Turin, 1929, labeled HANNIBAL FAGNOLA FECIT, TAURINI ANNO DOMINI 1929, and JOANNES BAPTISTA GUADAGNINI, CREMONENSIS FECIT TAURINI GBG, ALUMNUS ANTONI STRADIVARI 1723 T, and signed internally on the upper bass rib, the one-piece back of strong medium curl, the ribs similar, the scroll of strong narrow curl, the top of fine grain, the varnish of a golden color, length of back 13 15/16 in., 354 mm, with case.
