Two Depictions of Mount Vernon: J.H. Byram, publisher (American, 19th century), Collins & Chemin, lithographers (Philadelphia, mid-19th century), "Mount Vernon," identified in inscriptions in the matrix, colored lithograph on paper, image size 14 1/2 x 19 3/4 in.; American School, 19th Century, depicting Washington's tomb in the foreground with Mount Vernon on the hillside overlooking the Potomac River, unsigned, pastel on paper, 19 1/2 x 26 1/4 in., framed. Condition: The former with abrasions to the center top edge of image and margins, overall toning, not examined out of frame, the latter with repair to corner u.r., and repair to tear u.l.
