18kt Gold Allegorical Band, c. 1930-50, chased, depicting St. Francis of Assisi feeding animals against a blackened textured background, enhanced by a yellow diamond, the band marked "Laudato, Signore, Ste Mie.," size 6, attributed to Anna Bachelli. Note: Anna Bachelli was a designer in Turin, Italy who worked for Buccellati and Van Cleef & Arpels in the 1930's and 1940's. She also crafted original jewelry for her private clientele. She was not known to have signed her jewelry. Bachelli died in the late 1960's.
