Frequently Asked Questions

Please consider making a contribution to fund a health service for a patient in need.

Family Health Center of Worcester is a full-service health center open to all residents of Worcester, MA and surrounding areas. Family Health Center is a Joint Commission accredited, FTCA deemed, Federally Qualified Health Center whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of all residents in the Greater Worcester area, especially culturally diverse populations, by providing access to affordable, high quality, integrated, comprehensive, and respectful primary health care and social services, regardless of patients’ ability to pay.

Since March 2020 Family Health Center has been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic and has transformed care delivery in response to this public health crisis. Our low-income, culturally-diverse patients are disproportionately impacted by the virus and related negative health outcomes, food insecurity, and economic hardship. At both our Worcester and Southbridge locations, Family Health Center staff are providing tent-based triage and testing, treatment, care management, and contact tracing for patients exposed to COVID-19. Our medical, dental, and behavioral health services remain open and available to patients for essential in-person visits and virtual telehealth visits. Your Art in the City purchases directly support these critical health services.

Family Health Center offers family medicine, maternal child health, behavioral health, vision services, dentistry, nursing, a Walk In Center for urgent and primary care same-day visits, a low-cost pharmacy, lab, radiology, school-based health centers, refugee / immigrant health services, teen health clinic, ADHD clinic, INS clinic, an optical shop, flu vaccine clinics, health education and promotion, HIV counseling and testing, and public health programs for the early detection and prevention of disease. Family Health Center of Worcester provides care to 35,000 patients in 55 languages at 17 sites. To make a donation to Family Health Center of Worcester, please visit
